WAUKESHA – Fabric Weaving – Beginning and Independent Study Oct 30 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM

$54.00

Teacher:

Bill Hoernke

Learn to weave fabric to make interesting and beautiful designs that you would not want to piece together using traditional patchwork. With Bill as your instructor, it’s really not that hard to make these 3-D block designs as a beginner. In this all day class, beginners will learn to make a woven fabric panel approximately 16” x 20” that may be used for a table decoration, a tote bag, a pillow or anything that you would like. Independent Study students who have taken the course but want to try a new color combination or technique are welcome to join! Contact Bill before class.

Important! Each beginning student will need to purchase a kit including project board with gridlines, weaving tools and instructions on the day of the class from the instructor for $25 (cash or check). These are not commercially available. Independent study students should discuss tools with Bill prior to class.
