Introduction to Ruler Quilting Basics Nov 4 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM

Are you curious about quilting with Rulers or Templates? Want to try it? This is a basic hands-on class on how it’s done, and you only need 3 rulers, ruler foot, and a few supplies.
After getting your machine set up for Free Motion Quilting with Rulers, you will learn proper way to start and end stitching, how to stitch accurately point-to-point with straight lines and curves. You will learn how to measure and space lines whether straight or curved. Next, we work with the amazing circle as a fill, border, and block design.
Lastly, we look at different types of templates by multiple designers and check out what they can do. Students are encouraged to bring any ruler they have and are curious about using. I will bring a selection of templates by different manufacturers.
