Closet Core Carolyn Pajamas

Sunday, July 27 and Sunday, August 24

10:30 am – 2:30 pm

Two-piece pajamas set with three sleeve options, shorts or long pants. Choose from a variety of fabrics including quilting cotton, flannel or linen.

The first class will begin with cutting the pajamas shirt and pants (or shorts). All pattern preparation and adjustments must be made prior to class. Please note the required pre-work found in the attached Supply List.

Required Pre-work:

1. Purchase the Carolyn Pajama pattern, in your size range, available at Sew Much More. The above tutorial provides guidance to select your size and also what to do if your size is in both options.
2. Trace and cut all pattern pieces for the Pajama View you would like to make
3. Purchase and prepare fabric. Launder in the same manner you will your finished pajamas. Press if needed.
4. Read pattern instructions!
5. Gather additional supplies as listed below

Additional Supplies:

Fabric yardage according to your pattern size and your view selection

1 yd fusible interfacing

3-5 shirt buttons (3/8” – 5/8”)

Thread

Optional piping: 3.5 yards for shirt, 2 yards for pants

Basic Sewing Supplies (Pins, needles, scissors, rotary cutter, thread, seam ripper, rulers Add specifics if needed) Sewing Machine in good working order.  Always a good idea to clean, oil, put a new needle in before class.  Bring the manual for the machine if you are not familiar with all aspects of the machine or if the techniques in class are new to you.

The classroom has large cutting mats, irons and ironing boards if you do not want to bring your own.  For an all day class you might want to pack a lunch (Aldi and Le Gong restaurant are in our strip mall as an alternative)

Class Policies

• Classes require a minimum of 4 students. If the minimum is not reached 2 weeks before class, it will be cancelled and students will receive a full refund.
• If you have registered for a class and must cancel, please contact us ASAP. You must cancel at least two (2) weeks in advance to receive a refund or credit. No credit for no-shows.
• In deference to those with sensitivities, we ask that you refrain from wearing perfume or other scented products
• We would appreciate it if you purchase your supplies at Sew Much More. We will be happy to assist you in gathering all the necessary materials – and give you a 15% discount!
