SUNDAY, APRIL 12, 9:30AM – 4PM – WAUKESHA
Ever spotted those gorgeous woven bags and clutches and thought “I love that, but it looks so complicated”? Think again!
Join us on April 12, where Baby Lock Educator, Monica Van Zuiden will show you just how simple creating these stunning bags can be. We are going to break down every step, so it feels totally doable. Here’s what we will be doing together: We will start by embroidering fabric strips with beautiful decorative stitches – this is where you can really make your bag one-of-a kind. Then we will use our embroidery machines to create a special base that keeps all those woven strips perfectly aligned. No frustration just beautiful results!
The best part? Your embroidery machine does the heavy lifting! It embellishes your weaving strips AND creates the base that holds everything securely in place. No more tedious pinning the strips and wondering if they will shift around.
This class is all about creating clever shortcuts that let your machine do what it does best, so you can focus on the creative fun. You will leave amazed at what your embroidery machine can really do. You will also leave with the skills to create stunning woven bags that look way more complicated than they really are!
Cost $75 Includes a light lunch and kit. We will provide the Baby Lock Sewing/embroidery machines!
