In our Introduction to Garment Construction class, you will be introduced to the basic garment construction techniques that you will be able to use to create or enhance your garments. This will include, but is not limited to:
-Understanding body types and Garment selection by body type
-Elements of the garment that are flattering to your body type
-Understanding the information on the pattern envelope
-Understanding measurements
-Your body measurements in comparison to the pattern envelope
-Understanding fit and pattern correction
-How to choose your fabric based on the design
