MADISON – Embroidery Retreat with Marilyn and Mark Jan 17 and Jan 18 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Come and spend two-days with Marilyn and Mark embroidering and learning on your embroidery machine. Any brand of machine is welcome, please know the basics of how to operate your machine in embroidery mode. We will embroider four different projects over the two days to introduce you to some different embroidery techniques such stitching on a card, in-the-hoop with a zipper, and more. The minimum hoop size required for the projects is 255 x 145mm / 10 x 5.7 inches (i.e. BERNINA Large Oval Hoop) or 165 x 265 mm / 6.5 x 10.4 inches (i.e. BERNINA Midi Hoop or Medium Magnetic Hoop). There will be an additional kit fee of approximately $40 – $45 payable to the instructors. The kit will include the needed stabilizer and fabric for each project.
