Sleep in your Own Bed Retreat with Wendy and Nancy
August 24-26, 2026 Madison
Enjoy 3 days in our beautiful Madison classroom. Monday, August 24, 9AM (You can drop your machine and stuff off on Sunday before 3 pm if you want. Ends Wednesday August 26 at 5pm. On Monday and Tuesday you can sew 9AM 10PM, Wed 9-5 (We are opening the store early just for you)
This is a work on your own stuff retreat with a very special addition. Nancy Wilson from Lost Art Fiber and Textile Studio in Waukesha https://www.lostartfiberandtextile.com/ will be with us and doing a workshop on ice dying fabric and dying rope for a rope bowl. You will be going home with 1 yard of your own dyed fabric, and enough rope to make a couple medium size bowls. Wendy will be there to give you guidance if you need a little help with your own projects. Retreats provide the opportunity to sew with others and be inspired by what they are working on. You also get time to get your own projects done. Sign up early as this is sure to be a popular class.
We have made arrangements with Wyndham Gardens in Fitchburg to get a discount rate if you wish to stay there. You will call to make your own reservation if staying. The rate is $109. Call 608-571-6326 Must make reservation by July 24
Cost $199 Includes lunch all three days. (and fabric and rope) There is no supply list for this class as you will be bringing your own projects. Look for a welcome email about 3 weeks before the class.
