Cosplay Sewing for Absolute Beginners: Create a Bento Box Bag May 4 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Brand new to sewing but interested in cosplay? Start here! This hands-on workshop features guidance from Madison May, head pattern maker of CUT/SEW Sewing Patterns (www.cutsew.co), on how to get started on your very first sewing project. Each student will work on their own sewing machine to produce a finished bento box bag using basic machine and hand sewing techniques. During the course, we’ll discuss common techniques and tools used in cosplay and where to find guidance for your first cosplay project. By the end of this class, you’ll have the absolute basics under your belt so you can feel confident in front of your sewing machine and ready to move into cosplay.
